Vermont as a GNH laboratory
Vermont has a long history of pioneering environmental and social change and we believe Vermont local and state government, socially responsible businesses and non-profits can begin focused experiments with comprehensive well-being indicators and develop best practices for developing the understanding on how to use these indicators to help us shape public policy and budgets to help us move to a sustainable and happy future. We propose to partner with several Vermont organizations in each category and help implement a survey, reporting on the survey, citizen and stakeholder involvement and the use of the results to guide policy over the next year.

I know GNH has become a movement when I heard someone refer to it in a tele-conference. The person was from VT, but he mentioned it with the sense that everyone would know about it!
